Posted April 12th, 2007 by cianWowwowweewah! Look at these mixers with inbuild iPod recording! How insanely usefull!

This is sthe Belkin TuneStudio for iPod 5th generation. Taken from their site, (www.belkin.com)
Belkin’s TuneStudio for iPod 5th generation (video)
is the first four-channel audio mixer that lets you create high-quality
digital recordings directly onto your iPod. This mixer allows the input
of up to four different instruments or audio sources, and records the
audio onto your iPod for instant playback.
Lets look a bit closer at that. Are those two XLR imputs, A.K.A what I use to connect my microphones to my competer? Yes? Belkin! Send me one to review! (And keep...)

Posted April 11th, 2007 by cian'A first grade teacher collected well-known proverbs. She gave each child in her class the first half of a proverb, and had them come up with the rest. Their insight may surprise you...'
On this page we get to see the world from a slightly more child like point of view. Some examples are
Never underestimate the power of.....Termites.
Where there's smoke there's ....Pollution.
and of course,
Children should be seen and not....spanked or grounded.

VFTQ episode 48 - In this short episode of the View from the Quad podcast, I talk (for a short amount of time, of course) about Ancestor, the Scott Sigler book which just went to print, Next weeks interview (Tee Morris), and how to podcast in a loud enviroment. Hurrah! Short shownotes this week, as I don't really have the time to expand on them. DAMN THOSE RELIGIOUS SERVICES!

visit the website and comment on this and other shows, (A limited amount of other show, due to the death of my servers) at www.stuffslashersaw.com
Thanks for listning, and if this is your first VFTQ, Don't worry. I am usualy a lot higher quality, but due to the short amount of time this week, had to rush the show a bit. [VFTQ podcast]
Cian's stories
This page lists all of the stories penned by Cian Mac Mahon which he has managed to dig out of his various computers. There will most certainly be more coming soon, as he finds more.

Also, most of them WILL have spelling errors until I manage to clean them up.
- Nizeam This is a story about a young girl named Jane Wilson who studies Game Theory. She is about to meet her new room-mate, and he is not what she expects. Not only is he a man of great religion, but he failed to mention one little thing about his personality. Just a little thing.
- The Legged Newt This story is a little outside my usual horror subject matter. We read the diary of an esteemed scientist who is researching the 'Little known Legged News', one of the more interesting 'Pseudo creatures' in the world around us.
- A Little Shop of Horrors In this story, we meet Nina Kimberly, a normal tech support woman. We jump into her past, and find out about a strange man, a man who is sending her strange letters. "She opened the fresh brown envelope, and pulled out the piece of paper which she
knew was inside. This one was different. This one did not have writing on both sides, only
one. On the other was a scrawled stick figure scene, one looking at the other, each a
mirror image of its companion.
The writing was, as usual, typed up on an old typewriter. Other then the writing on the
front, she had never seen her tormentors handwriting. The smudged, slightly faded letters
stood out clear against the paper.
‘Why not come out of there? It must smell like mothballs, but make sure that you don’t
touch the door knob.' "

VFTQ episode 48 may be a tad delayed
Posted April 6th, 2007 by cianI am in the middle of nowhere. Granted, I do have all my recording equipment, (Gawd... A podcast studio is heavy) and hope to be conducting quite a few interviews over the following days. Hurrah!
A side effect of this middle of nowhere-ness is crappy Internet. Which means.... Long uploads. And me not being bothered to upload.
'Am I bovverd?'
So, give me a day or two.
