I want these!

Wowwowweewah! Look at these mixers with inbuild iPod recording! How insanely usefull!

This is sthe Belkin TuneStudio for iPod 5th generation. Taken from their site, (www.belkin.com)

Belkin’s TuneStudio for iPod 5th generation (video)
is the first four-channel audio mixer that lets you create high-quality
digital recordings directly onto your iPod. This mixer allows the input
of up to four different instruments or audio sources, and records the
audio onto your iPod for instant playback.

Lets look a bit closer at that. Are those two XLR imputs, A.K.A what I use to connect my microphones to my competer? Yes? Belkin! Send me one to review! (And keep...)

Second on the list of things I want, gosh darn it, is the Alesis iMultiMix 8 USB.

As we can see, it does basicly the exact same thing, just with more inputs. I want this one more then the Belkin, but damnit, it is expensive.

The
iMultiMix 8 USB is a sturdy, compact all-in-one tabletop mixer and
recorder that features 100 studio grade 28–bit digital effects, a
built–in limiter to avoid distorted recordings and an integrated iPod
dock with control wheel transport controls for fast, easy
direct–to–iPod recording.

Alesis, also feel free to send me one of these babies.

I know your a machead

so don't use belkin, they're far too windows centric, and there whole system for product numbers is a mess.

Windows centric?

I don't think that this sort of product matters if it is windows centric, as it might not ever come into contact with a computer, just the ipod.

hmmm..

ok, but just warning you. there PCMCIA wireless card has had 7 versions, each with different drivers and its never clear which driver set you need.

but

Yes... But that does not apply in this case. You plug your microphones in, plug your iPod in, and away you go.
And since I use a mac, I don't have to worry about drivers!
